Voters of North Reading Approve Secondary School Proposal

Today the voters of North Reading approved the funding to build a new high school and renovate the middle school. The finished campus will combine the high school and middle school through a shared common core. Work will now begin to prepare for breaking ground later this spring.

Here’s a video explaining why we need to upgrade our high school and middle school, and our plan to move forward. The movie has a short history of the building, describes some of the infrastructure problems, and explains how the antiquated building design doesn’t facilitate teaching a 21st century curriculum.
